Begin.
June 12, 2020
Sometimes the hardest battle we fight is that first step.

Whether it’s to begin showing up for ourselves unapologetically, building healthy habits towards self-care, or connecting with people outside of our comfortable, predictable, unthreatening social bubble.

I hear you loud and clear about feeling the goblins of insecurity somersaulting inside your mind when you contemplate stepping into the light, flag in hand, true colors showing.

I know that sometimes you feel like you’ve got nothing to add to the equation – like if you don’t join the “I built a 6/7/8-figure business from scratch” chorus, your voice isn’t needed here.

So this is me spilling the beans:
I’m a highly sensitive introvert with the shakiest of knees every time I go on air with The Buddhified Podcast (eeek!) or hit publish on really any new piece of content.

Real Talk; This article has shed what feels like 1000 skins to emerge just like you read it today.

But here’s the thing.

I heard the call.

I know I have a purpose.

YOU have a PURPOSE.

It’s not about being THE VOICE #oprahforpresident.

It’s about being A voice and reaching the people who need exactly what you have to offer.

Two revelations that helped me come out of my shell:

1. You’re just a blip on everyone else’s radar – and that’s a good thing.

Every single one of us is living their own lifetime movie, wearing our own unique emotion-vision googles, tinted by our memories and thoughts and roller-coasting reactions to outside drama.
Realizing this helped me both become more daring online and game up my content.

When you outgrow just doing something and grow into standing up and out for something aka your purpose, you’ll start attracting your kind of people, simply because that blip turns into a “that’s ME!”.
So, worst case, everybody keeps scrolling because your voice doesn’t yet have that clarity that stops your dream buyer in their tracks.
Best case: Your kind of people start engaging with you, while the people who aren’t a great fit for you keep walking.

Think about it:

Saving time, energy, brain space, and heartache all around, AND growing your reach, your confidence, and panache.
That's what you do with your content.

Your goal:

Help those who need you, who feel you, who share your values self-identify and say YES to joining the conversation you sparked, YES to letting you see them, read from them, YES to welcoming you into their world.

And if someone hates your angle on things, the way you use the Oxford comma somewhat randomly or the mission you set as your business core?
Then that person will give you a NO.

This is excellent because that way, your community will mirror your message and values, in turn helping you to refine, boil down and polish your content to serve them even better, without the murky influence of MAYBE readers.

2. You didn’t wake up today to be mediocre.

Your life, at least this manifestation of your soul, is finite.
You’re here to love yourself until that love overflows your cup so you can do good unto others and create positive change.

In other words:

  • What color is your brushstroke in the big picture?
  • How do you impact the lives you touch?
  • Do you love yourself enough to show up as yourself, for yourself, unapologetically, and create your happiest, most fulfilled life?

I learned that sometimes the simplest statement I make around R.I.C.H. content or me painting the Gandalf picture for the 15th time, or something else that's so much a part of my message that I communicate it almost as a PS - the smallest thing can be the one thing exactly that someone out there needed to read (or hear, or watch) that day.

I'll let you in on a secret:
Those emails and messages and DMs letting me know I've made an impact, I've helped someone stand up to their inner critic or I've inspired someone to show up whole?
More often than not they'll pop up exactly when I'm having an imposter syndrome day, or feel like I'm shouting against the wind, or think that my approach to abundance marketing is too out there.

You won't know the positive force you can be until you start to show up for yourself.
  • Define your business core
  • Paint your mission flag
  • Grow beyond just doing something: stand for something
  • Write for the one person you'd love to be your Frodo
  • Claim your one square inch of the market, then start building
    • your foundation
    • your hut
    • your home
    • your kingdom
    • your legacy

💗 I’m right here, rooting for you!

I've heard you speak so many times, but I never can get enough of your message! This post hits my heart, fuels my spirit, energizes my work! I am SO grateful to have found a coach like you! You INSPIRE me Nicole!! THANK YOU! ❤️

Wow! Did you seriously just post this today!?! The day I first learned of you from your post in the Badass Your Business group? I resonated with your post there, followed the bread crumbs and ended up reading this blog post where you read my mind and spoke to exactly where I am. When you read my answers in my request to join your FB group, you will see that.

My being here is an example of what you said about flying your flag and your people will join you. Abundance marketing. ROI of 20. Stepping out with your message boldly on camera or podcast even when afraid.

Wow again! Thank you. Deep bow.

Nicole König
